Over the last 2 and a half years we have closely worked with over 100 stakeholders to build more alignment for circular economy R&I programming and funding in Europe. This was achieved through:

We are now pleased to launch the first phase of the EU Circular Cooperation Hub, the platform for circular economy joint programming in Europe. The objective of the Hub is to provide:

  • Advisory services to build joint programmes
  • Access to an updated Circular Economy SRIA
  • A repository of European programme owners and their programmes/initiatives
  • Capacity building services to support the design of systemic joint circular economy programmes

This first phase of the launch will implement the key building blocks of the Hub, with the objective of launching first calls by 2022. This will include providing capacity building services to programme owners (e.g. a Massive Open Online Course), building up the online portal including a repository of existing initiatives in Europe, and providing key insights from the SRIA on Circular Economy.
